Foundations of watercolor: Black and White

This series of 4 classes (Feb 3, 10th, 17th and 24) prepares students for a more indepth understanding and rendition of watercolor. In this class students will gain understanding and experience studying value (light and darkness) in a visual composition. Students will use only black watercolor, water and the white of the paper to render a painting in grayscale. If you want a deep dive into watercolor, this class is a bedrock foundation to prepare you to do so.
